16-Year Packaging Machines With Integrated Printing & Coding
An automatic granule packaging machine is not limited to rice or beans. It can be configured to pack many dry granular products, from agricultural seeds and food ingredients to industrial pellets.
Common food applications include rice, wheat, quinoa, lentils, soybeans, mung beans, coffee beans, peanuts, sugar, salt and small candies. Seed companies may use similar equipment for sesame, chia, rapeseed, cumin and other agricultural seeds. Dry pet food, feed pellets and plastic granules are also possible applications.
However, the material itself determines how the machine should be configured.
Small seeds need different handling from large beans.
Soybeans usually pass through a feeding system more easily than very fine seeds. Chia seeds and sesame may escape through small gaps or collect around the discharge opening. For these materials, the feeding and dosing sections deserve particular attention.
Sugar and salt bring different concerns. Moisture can affect material flow, while fine particles left near the sealing area may interfere with the finished bag.
Coffee beans, peanuts and larger granules need enough space through the filling passage. Fragile products also require attention to breakage during feeding.
The same weight does not mean the same bag size.
A 500g bag of dense seeds may be much smaller than a bag containing 500g of lightweight cereal. This is why manufacturers should check both filling weight and finished bag dimensions before ordering equipment.
INNOV's automatic granule packaging machine can combine measuring, bag forming, filling, sealing and cutting. Different dosing arrangements can be considered according to the product.
For factories packaging several granular materials, the best starting point is a complete product list, including particle size, target bag weight and packaging film.
