A tea packing machine should not be selected only by looking at production speed. For green tea, black tea, flower tea, herbal tea or similar granular materials, we normally first confirm the actual product, target filling weight, bag format and packaging material.
The INNOV tea packing machine covered here is designed for green tea, black tea, flower tea, coffee, Chinese tea, health tea, herbal tea and other relatively uniform granular products. It supports both flat tea bags and pyramid tea bags, with a filling range of 1–10 g and a stated production speed of about 70–100 bags per minute.
For a buyer, however, those numbers are only the starting point.
When we discuss a tea packaging project, the first question is usually not “How fast is the machine?”
The more useful questions are:
What tea are you packing?
How many grams are required in each bag?
Do you need a flat pouch or pyramid tea bag?
Which packaging film will be used?
This machine supports a measuring range of 1–10 g, with bag dimensions of approximately 45–90 mm in length and 40–90 mm in width. The machine can produce different tea-bag formats, including pyramid bags and flat bags.
This matters because a 2 g herbal tea product and a 10 g loose-leaf tea product may use the same basic machine platform but still require different packaging specifications.
Before confirming the configuration, we prefer to work from the buyer's actual bag size and product requirement rather than assuming that one standard setting is suitable for every tea.
Tea buyers increasingly use different packaging materials, so material compatibility should be checked early.
The machine supports materials including nylon, non-woven fabric, biodegradable PLA mesh, PLA non-woven material with thread and tag, drip coffee bag material, paper film, composite film and aluminum foil.
This is one reason the machine uses ultrasonic sealing.
For tea-bag applications, especially when thinner mesh-type materials are used, sealing performance cannot be treated as a minor detail. The product page specifies imported ultrasonic sealing technology together with an electronic weighing system to provide stable sealing and weight control.
In a real project, we would therefore want to know the actual packaging material before finalizing the machine.
Two buyers may both ask for a “triangle tea bag packing machine,” but one may be using nylon mesh while another is using biodegradable PLA material. The target bag may look similar, but the packaging requirement is not exactly the same.
The purpose of this tea packing machine is to reduce separate manual steps.
The equipment can continuously complete:
feeding, weighing, bag forming, sealing, cutting, counting and finished-product conveying.
The weighing and dosing section automatically measures and feeds the material, while the film feeding device works together with the film roll to maintain stable film movement during bag forming.
The bag former is made from 304 stainless steel and is designed according to the required bag specification. The pulling belt system uses stepper-motor control to adjust bag length without requiring a component change each time the specification is adjusted.
For buyers running several tea products, this kind of adjustment capability can be more relevant than simply comparing maximum machine speed.
If you have different tea products but their fill weight and bag dimensions remain within the machine's supported range, the discussion should focus on the actual product and packaging specification rather than treating every SKU as a completely different packaging project.
The published packing speed is 70–100 bags/min. The machine operates on AC220V / 50Hz / 2.0 kW, requires a gas source of at least 0.6 m³/min, and has an overall size of approximately 1320 × 1366 × 2160 mm.
For factory planning, these parameters are useful.
But we would not recommend selecting the machine only because the maximum speed looks attractive.
The actual project should still be matched to the required bag size, tea type, target weight and packaging material. If a buyer changes from one pouch material to another, or changes the bag specification significantly, it is better to confirm the actual configuration before production.
For export customers, installation space should also be considered in advance because the machine is more than two meters high.
This is easy to overlook when buyers focus only on the finished tea bag.
One useful feature of this machine is that the product range is not limited to a single tea-bag format.
It supports both pyramid tea bags and flat pouches, which allows a tea producer to select the format according to its product positioning and packaging requirement.
The website also lists 3-side seal, 4-side seal, pillow bag, pyramid bag, special-shaped bag and other packaging formats within the broader tea-packaging range.
For the specific configuration, however, buyers should not assume that every bag format uses exactly the same setup.
We normally recommend confirming the actual sample bag, dimensions and film before the machine configuration is finalized.
That is especially important when thread-and-tag material or biodegradable mesh is involved.
For a serious tea packaging inquiry, a short product name such as “green tea” is not enough.
The useful information is:
With these details, it becomes much easier to judge whether the standard configuration is suitable or whether part of the packaging system needs to be adjusted.
The machine itself supports a broad range of tea products and packaging materials, but the final configuration should still follow the real product and package requirement rather than a generic specification sheet.
