Triangle Tea Bag Packing Machine: How to Match the Machine to Bag Material and Production Requirements

A triangle tea bag packing machine is often requested by buyers who already know the appearance of the tea bag they want. But from a machine-selection point of view, the bag shape is only one part of the project.

The INNOV machine supports pyramid triangular tea bags as well as flat tea bags and can be used for green tea, black tea, flower tea, herbal tea, coffee and other uniform granular materials. Its measuring range is 1–10 g, with a published speed of approximately 70–100 bags per minute.

The more important discussion starts with how the material is weighed, how the film behaves during forming and how the final bag is sealed.

Triangle Tea Bags Need More Than a Different Bag Shape

A buyer may send us a photo of a pyramid tea bag and ask whether the machine can produce it.

The machine does support pyramid packaging, but we still need to confirm the actual packaging material and bag dimensions.

Compatible materials listed for this equipment include biodegradable PLA mesh, nylon with thread and tag, PLA non-woven material with thread and tag, paper film, composite film and other supported films.

The target bag size is within approximately 45–90 mm long and 40–90 mm wide.

This is why a product sample and bag specification are much more useful than simply saying “I need a triangle bag machine.”

The machine must be matched to the actual package that the buyer intends to sell.

Ultrasonic Sealing Is a Key Part of This Application

The machine uses ultrasonic sealing technology.

According to the product specification, the sealing system is intended to provide stable sealing performance even when relatively thin biodegradable mesh materials are used.

For tea packaging, we would check the actual film before confirming the solution.

A material described commercially as PLA or nylon may still need to be matched with the target bag specification and production requirement.

We do not recommend deciding the complete machine configuration only from the material name.

The finished package should be evaluated together with the film feeding, forming and sealing process.

This is particularly relevant for premium tea products where the appearance of the bag itself is part of the final product.

Weighing Accuracy Starts Before the Bag Is Formed

This tea packing machine uses an automatic weighing and dosing system.

The weighing section measures the product and feeds it into the forming process automatically. The machine is designed for a filling range of 1–10 g, covering many small tea-bag applications.

For green tea, black tea, herbal tea or similar products, the buyer should provide the real target filling weight.

It is not useful to configure a project around the maximum 10 g range if the real production requirement is a much smaller sachet.

Likewise, if several products will run on one machine, those products should be considered together before the final configuration is selected.

The machine can also be used for other relatively uniform granular materials, including seeds, seasonings and dried plant granules, according to the manufacturer's application information.

But a tea packaging project should still be evaluated primarily around the actual tea product being packed.

Film Feeding and Bag Forming Affect Production Stability

The film feeding system works with the film roll shaft to maintain stable film movement through the forming process.

After film feeding, the material passes through a bag former manufactured from 304 stainless steel. The forming section is configured according to the required bag specification.

The pulling belt system is controlled by a stepper motor, allowing bag-length adjustment without replacing components whenever the bag specification changes.

This becomes useful when a customer has more than one tea product or more than one pack size.

However, “adjustable” does not mean every packaging format can be changed without confirming the mechanical setup.

Before production, the actual film width, bag dimensions and required pouch format should still be checked.

That is a more reliable way to select a tea packaging machine than choosing from photos alone.

Planning the Machine Into the Factory

The complete machine is approximately 1320 × 1366 × 2160 mm, with a listed weight range of 260–410 kg depending on configuration.

Power requirement is AC220V / 50Hz / 2.0 kW, and the machine requires a gas source of at least 0.6 m³/min.

These figures should be checked before shipment because they affect factory installation.

We would normally want the buyer to confirm that the machine height and working area are acceptable and that the required electrical and compressed-air supply are available.

The machine is designed to complete feeding, weighing, forming, sealing, cutting, counting and finished-product conveying automatically.

That means installation should be planned as a production station, not simply as a standalone tabletop tea sealer.

When We Recommend Sample Confirmation Before Finalizing the Machine

A tea packaging machine can have a clear specification, but the buyer's finished product still needs to be defined.

For a triangle tea bag project, we would want to see the actual tea, target bag or reference photo, filling weight and film requirement before final confirmation.

For example, a buyer using biodegradable PLA mesh may require a different discussion from a buyer using nylon material with thread and tag, even though both want pyramid tea bags.

The same applies when a customer plans to package several products on one machine.

The published machine range provides the technical boundary: 1–10 g filling, 45–90 mm bag length, 40–90 mm bag width and about 70–100 bags/min.

The final decision should come from the real packaging requirement inside that range.

For a new tea project, sending the tea sample information, required bag size, packaging material and target output is usually more useful than asking only for a machine price.
